Throwback: Hospital Story Part II

The ambulance reached Hosp Likas's ER about 8pm. My PIL & husband's aunty (a retired nurse at hosp Likas) were already there. But I can only waved at them. Lain pula rasa tu kena sorong masuk ER. lol

My bp was checked previous times. Sometimes it was stable, sometimes higher. After about 15mins (or more), I was sent to Assesment Room at 1st floor where I was given the pink hospital uniform. I was still feeling good, somehow excited because sooner I will see our baby.

It all started in the super cold room. I was there for hours -_-.. Couldn't remember the actual period but it seems forever. Whenever I could, I went out to check my husband bcos it was super cold and he was only wearing seluar pendek! I started feeling nervous when I first stepped into the room's toilet and saw blood on the floor or on the toilet seat. Seeing some women who were in pain was making me nervous as well. On the other hand, I was in no pain whatsoever, bcos I was there 1 month early.

A doctor injected my left hand and keep checking my bp. There were few doctors in the room and looked like already working non-stop since morning. Few doctors checked on me and asking questions. My bp still non-stable but not too high as before. Heard their arguments whether I was really having PIH or not. Hmm hmm.. so my blood and urine sample was taken for futher test. Oh forgot to mention that during my last appointment at Dr John Teo's clinic, my urine showed protein positive. A total no-no for pregnancy.

At around midnight, maybe my blood test already out so I was sent out to Kenanga 1. Finally! I was already thinking maybe I might be asked to return home first. How nervous I was, I WANT to deliver already. I've read the consequences of PIH to baby so better not take any chances.

I was placed in High Risk Room 1. Later on I learnt that banyak juga mama-mama yg kena PIH in the same room. There was 8 beds and I was in bed 1. The room was already put into dim light so mama-mama can sleep. I heard the woman in bed 2 was "aduh-aaduh" and "urmmm-urmm" which makes me more nervous....I guessed she was having contractions. Later on I got to know that she was induced the previous morning.

I was only asleep a few hours. The doctors and nurses keep on rotating though.

The next morning husband and fil came in for a while and afterwards went back home. I started taking my urine sample for 24hours for the protein monitoring. But every morning all of us were taking urine sample for protein checking.

Later in the afternoon visit, my parents came with Pst. Albert and Pta. Jonisin. My pil and husband also came along. One thing I was forever grateful was that during the whole time I was there, I never once not visited by my family and inlaws.

So Pastor and Penatua prayed for me during that time. Asking God for His grace and help during my labor. God bless them both.

At late noon, I was taken into specialist room where they scanned me again and confirmed to induce me with "balloon" tomorrow morning. It was nerve-breaking bcos I heard the bed 2 screaming during 'opening' checking. Bikin takut to be honest. Sana bawah kena korek2 huhuhuhu..

Only God knows my feeling. Thanks God that my husband always came in all visiting hours so I can share my concerns. It was one of the time that I can see his commitment and love to me. Hehe

Short Vacay in KL

Hubby and I  went on short trip to KL on 13th - 15th March. But actually hubby was already in KL for work from 10th March so I was only followed him there on 13th. It was very short and tiring vacation but we still enjoyed the moment so much.. It was my first time arrived at Klia2, it was quite spacious but I still can find direction easily as there were enough signboards to follow.  I went directly to 1 Utama via Skybus. It took me about an hour to reach there. I went here for dinner with my sister who worked at The Curve. This kafe is located at Ikano (IPC), just opposite the The Curve building. Creative menus' book. I ordered the Traditional Mien Fen Guo. and drink the soy milk as I felt gastric was attacking :( My food! It was tasty enough, licin juga la sa makan. Hoho This was my sister's. If not mistaken, it was dried...mien. Cant recall the exact name. The sauce was perfect! After dinne...
